DIY – Cardboard Box Lightformer for your Speed Light

To use a Speed-Light is a common task in the daily work of a photographer. But sometimes the lighting needs an extra kick. 

To create the amazing light pattern you can see in the image you can use expensive light former equipment or you can follow the tutorial because there is no need to spend a lot of money.

You need just a few thing:

  • Cardboard Box
  • a Pen
  • a Ruler
  • Speed-Light
  • Knife
  • some Duct-Tape

 

Cut some holes at the front of the cardboard box.

The Duct-Tape helps you to stablize and fix

 

Make some room for the Speed-Light

Finished Speed-Light Lightformer. Ugly but really useful
